  Konstantin Pavlidis

Director - Narrator - Musician    
Konstantin Pavlidis is the founder and
artistic director of Unstructured Light, which
was established in 1990.
His artistic career began initially as a dancer.
Subsequently he became a teacher / choreo-
grapher and now works also with the voice in
classical singing and healing through sound.
He became interested in exploring altered
states of consciousness and researching
paranormal experiences for the purpose of
raising Self awareness within the performing
arts.
He has studied and practised as a therapist,
healer and psychic for the past 30 years,
drawing from Occidental, Caucasian, Oriental
and Aboriginal traditions.  He has incorporated
this knowledge into the development of both
the artists and the works they produce,
leading to the various performances presented
by Unstructured Light.

  Aniko Nagy

Dancer - Singer    
Aniko Nagy has been performing with
Unstructured Light since 1996 and
she is both a dancer and vocalist with
the group.  She comes from a long
lineage of dancers, (fourth generation
from her maternal and third generation
from her paternal), and so had begun
her dance training at a young age.
She worked predominantly as a
contemporary dancer with companies
in the USA, Germany, and the UK.
She graduated from university at
the OSU with a BFA in Dance and
now also teaches yoga and works in
energy medicine as a therapist.
Aniko has evolved her own unique
dance style which has developed
through the foundation training of
Unstructured Light.

 

 

  Pete Townsend

Musician - Narrator    
Pete Townsend is a producer / audio
engineer and musician. He has recorded
artists ranging from Ernie Wise to Sir
John Gielgud and specialises in ‘Spoken
Word’.  He is a flute player and also
plays the Javanese kacapi.
Pete has his own audio / cd-rom
company and has recorded many CDs
for the English flautist William Bennett.
He has also recorded ensembles and
orchestras such as the Russian Festival
Orchestra.
He has been a member of Unstructured
Light since 1991 and has performed
and recorded in many countries.  He also
teaches meditation through sound.

 

 

  Rollin Rachele

Musician - Singer    
For over 25 years Rollin Rachele
has studied and performed a
wide variety of vocal styles and
music genres. Since the mid
1980s Rollin has been active
internationally as a teacher and
performer of overtone singing
and has published a most com-
prehensive manual and audio
CD to accompany his teaching
technique. In the early 1990s
he studied Indian classical vocal
music with Ustad Mohammad
Sayeed Khan.
He has been integrating his
talents with Unstructured Light
since 1991.

 

 

  Doreen Wells

Patron    
Doreen Wells was a Prima Ballerina with the
Royal Ballet which took her from England to
North and South America, Europe and South
East Asia and to North Africa.
Her career with the Royal Ballet was launched
as a young dancer when she won the Adeline
Genee Gold Medal.
She has partnered many dancers including
Rudolf Nureyev and appeared with a variety of
artists in numerous events such as Harry
Secombe, Placido Domingo and Kiri Te
Kanewa in a BBC Christmas extravaganza.
She has also starred in the leading roles of
musical theatre productions such as “On your
Toes”, “42nd Street“ and “Charlie Girl”.
Doreen began working with U L in 1998 in an
experimental capacity exploring new methods
and modes of movement.  This has since led to
her appearing in a number of U L productions.

 

 

  Deborah Hood

Actress - Narrator    
Deborah Hood received her training in
traditional theatre at the Academy of Live
and Recorded Arts and later received
a post graduate diploma in Drama and
Movement Therapy from the International
Sesame Institute.
She has studied various training methods
in movement and physical theatre including
work with Desmond Jones, Five Rhythms
of Gabrielle Roth, mask making and performing
with “Evoke Theatre” and performing
with the “Kokopelli Shamanic Theatre
Group”.
Deborah has also had training as a yoga
teacher, therapeutic massage therapist and
in various forms of healing including Reiki
and Vortex Healing.
She has been working with U L since 1998
bringing her background experiences and
unique style into its performances.

 

 

  Jim Webb

Laser artist - Lighting technician    
Jim has been working with lasers since the late 70’s.
He has worked for film and television such as the BBC
including documentaries and educational programmes.
Other commissions have included art installations and
private functions.
He has worked internationally with lasers and has
collaborated with various performers including Victoria
Beckham, Louise and a variety of other bands and
performers.  Recently he has been working with U L
because it has moved yet another creative spirit within
him.
“And... Lasers are great fun!”
Jim has worked on courses teaching holography,
creative uses of light and laser lighting and has extensive
experience in photography using laser light.  “The
purity of laser light brings out a great enthusiasm within
anyone working with it or just watching; it is a powerful
visual reminder of the purity all of us strive for at some
point in our lives.”

 

 

  Keith Ealey

Sound engineer    
Keith Ealey is a free-lance electronics,
sound and systems engineer and
a manager in broadcasting radio
and TV.  He has worked throughout
the broadcast, media and related
industries for over 20 years at various
levels including management, sound
and systems engineering, health &
safety, maintenance and technical
support.
His clients have included the ABC
News, BBC Broadcasting House and
BBC local Radio Network, Classic
FM and EMI Electronics.
He has worked with U L since 2002
in self development sessions which
he has integrated into the artistic and
technical collaborations leading to
performances.
