Unstructured Light  |  U L History

Unstructured Light is a music and movement theatre group which utilises the metaphysical dimensions of popular art forms

to explore the paranormal side of life.

The members of the group come from different artistic disciplines, all of whom work together from a common foundation.

This includes meditation, visualisation, energy development, yoga and self development techniques as a foundation to gain

experiences of the metaphysical in order to take familiar performance themes further into these worlds.

Much of the work produced is inspired by living experiences gained through our travels to sacred sites and working with

the geomantic energies of these places.

Over the years, we have performed works which are varied in their cultural, musical and thematic content such as : “A

Journey through Sound with Rumi”, “Origins of Lamentation”, “Hamlet’s Journey”, “Shakespeare’s Sonnets”, “Odysseus

Revisited” and “Fire in the Heart”. The artists include singers, actors, dancers, musicians, poets and technicians all of whom

participate in the production of presentations.

In this way, it is possible to create performances which elevate the consciousness of an audience and enable a

transformation to take place.

Our aim is to explore alternative dimensions and to invite our audiences to join us on our journeys into these worlds.
